Savement Foundation follows a fair and transparent refund policy to ensure that our donors feel confident and valued in their association with us. We take utmost care to process all donations strictly in accordance with the mandates provided by donors through online and offline donation forms.
However, in the rare event of an erroneous, duplicate, or unauthorized transaction, or if a donor wishes to request a cancellation, Savement Foundation will review and respond to such requests within 7 working days of receiving the complaint.
If a donor identifies any issue related to their donation, the following steps must be followed:
Immediate Notification
The donor should inform Savement Foundation as soon as the issue is discovered.
Written Request
A written refund or cancellation request must be sent via email to
support@savementfoundation.in within 10 business days from the date of donation.
Required Information
The email should include:
Donor’s full name
Donation date
Donation amount
A brief explanation of the reason for the refund or cancellation request
Proof of Deduction
Savement Foundation may request supporting documents or proof of the transaction for verification purposes.
General Policy
All donations made to Savement Foundation are voluntary and are generally non-refundable, as the organization relies on these funds to support its charitable programs. Donors are encouraged to carefully review their donation details before completing the transaction.
Erroneous or Unauthorized Transactions
Refunds may be considered in cases of:
Duplicate payments
Erroneous deductions
Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
Such cases will be investigated thoroughly.
Refund Processing Time
If a refund request is approved after verification, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 15 business days.
Tax Exemption Certificates
If a tax exemption certificate (such as Form 10BE) has already been issued for the donation, a refund may not be possible, as per applicable laws and regulations.
Savement Foundation collects and uses donor information solely for:
Processing donations
Issuing receipts and acknowledgments
Communicating with donors
Managing fundraising activities and internal operations
This information (“Donor Data”) may include:
Name
Donation amount
Address
Mobile number
Email address
Donor comments
Any other information voluntarily provided
For donations made via cheque, Donor Data may also include information visible on the cheque.
To provide the best possible donor experience, Savement Foundation may work with trusted service providers. Donor Data may be securely shared with or transmitted through such providers only for operational and payment processing purposes.
